Cotaplan delivered an £8 million full turnkey modular hospital building project for East Surrey Hospital in Redhill. The design and construction were fully undertaken by Cotaplan and included four seperate modular buildings providing ward facilities for Surrey and Sussex NHS. The modular buildings were designed to meet HTM/HBN standards and were fully equipped to integrate with hospital operations.

Modern Modular Ward Facilities For NHS Hospital

East Surrey hospital required additional ward facilities to expand capacity and provide modern healthcare environments. Each modular building needed to comply with HTM/HBN standards, include specialist medical infrastructure and support full hospital operations. The project needed to be completed efficiently to meet the NHS’s strict operational and programme requirements, while providing high-quality, fully functional facilities for staff and patients.

Full Turnkey Modular Hospital Buildings Delivered In 12 Weeks Per Ward

Cotaplan delivered the project as a full turnkey solution, managing all aspects of design and construction. Extensive mechanical and electrical installations were incorporated, including bed head electrics, ventilation, medical gases and air tube systems. Passenger and bed lifts were installed, alongside a high-end internal fit-out featuring medical benching, a stainless steel kitchen and bespoke nurse call stations. Each individual ward was completed with a 12-week on-site programme, providing fully operational, compliant, and modern modular hospital facilities for the NHS.
